Cooking challenge

So since most of the readers of this blog talk to me on the outside, I know that there are good and creative cooks among you. Also, you know that I am moving soon (to the other side of the parking lot). Because (1) I want to move as little as possible, (2) I am poor, and (3) I am trying to switch to a diet that includes less processed food, I have decided to not buy any more food from Giant before I move, and eat what I have. This does not include things I might need to complete a recipe, such as eggs. I will, though, try to limit these purchases. So far on the list I have eggs and spaghetti sauce.

Anyway, I want to propose a challenge to y'all: help me combine the ingredients I will list below into dishes. Please, I am a not-so-good cook, so make it easy.

Ok, here's the list:

Freezer
2 boneless chuck steaks
1/2 bag corn
1 1/2 bags french fries
1/2 box potato and cheddar pierogies
1 frozen banana

Fridge
orange juice
less than a cup of shredded cheddar

Herbs
herbes de provence
italian seasoning
poultry seasoning
parsley
basil
garlic
bay leaves
oregano
allspice
cinnamon

Pantry
flour, sugar, br sugar, s&p
potato pancake mix
lots of pasta
boil-in-a-bag rice
1 can tuna
breakfast stuff (doesn't count)

I also have one dish for which I have ingredients, it's just that it takes a while to make it, so I haven't yet: sushi. I have sushi rice, seasoning, seaweed, and cooked salmon in a pouch.

Ok, get cooking!

Heh--I love this game!

OK, you know I don't cook with meat, but here's an idea... Cut up the steak, toss with flour and brown in a pan with some butter...

Take out the meat when it's done and set aside. Turn the flour/fat mixture into a gravy (yum! I can tell you how to do that if you need to know.

Next, mix up the potato pancake batter.

Put the meat in a baking dish, pour on the gravy and spread the potato pancake mix on top.

Bake in the oven until batter is done....

Voila! Steak and Potato Pancake Casserole!
